Zach established ZG Law after having worked at a boutique corporate and commercial law firm in the GTA for a number of years, during which time he gained extensive experience on a wide range of corporate and commercial law matters.

Zach has worked on matters of all sizes and levels of complexity, including having advised on the sale of a national restaurant franchise with over 200 locations nationwide and assisting with the resolution of a dispute related to ownership rights and operational control of a series of large commercial real estate properties valued at over $150 million that resulted from a previously implemented complex business structure. Zach also has broad experience assisting businesses on more everyday matters, such as drafting and negotiating employment and contractor agreements, incorporating companies and helping clients establish businesses, and drafting and negotiating service agreements, leases, shareholder agreements, and partnership agreements, amongst a range of other matters. However, as an entrepreneur himself, Zach finds the most enjoyment working with small businesses and their founders, and is committed to treating every matter as a priority regardless of its size or level of complexity.

In addition to practicing law, Zach has been trusted by a number of leading tech companies, including OpenAI, to assist with the development of their AI language models by helping to train these models on interpreting the law and applying legal concepts. Zach has also contributed to an internationally recognized academic article published by the Centre for AI Safety (CAIS) aimed at evaluating the current aptitude level of AI and ensuring its safe use and development.

Outside of work, Zach enjoys watching the Leafs and Blue Jays, spending time at the cottage, and trying new restaurants around the city.
